Superstar’s daughter as ambassador for Super Kings?

It is reported that Tamil Superstar’s daughter Saundarya might be roped in as the new ambassador along with Vijay for the Super Kings team. Rising star Arya is in the discussion too.

Graphic Designer by profession Saundarya runs a company called Ocher Studios. Her animation works include tamil films like Chandramukhi, Padaiyappa, Ah Aah : Anbe Aaruyire. She is directing her first full-length animated film, Sultan : The Warrior. Rajni Kanth, her father renders voice to the main character in this movie. She has also entered into multi-film deal with Warner Brothers.

Earlier they dropped Nayanathara as their brand ambassador for not attending the home matches in chennai and also a not attending the shooting of a promotional video.

 

They have already roped in :

1. Siva Mani (drummer)
2. Hari Haran(singer)
3. Naresh Iyer
4. Suchi (RJ)

As per the contract she should be present in all home matches cheering the team. She was missing from action in their last match in Chennai against Knight Riders. This irked the authorities and dropped her from being a brand ambassador. Vijay is the only ambassador for Super Kings.

Vijay Mallya does it in style. He has cash to burn and uses it to entertain audience. SRK can take a leaf out of his book but can he match Dr. Mallya’s cashburn. Mallya has roped in the following celebrities as ambassadors and has spent around 5 crores for the celebrations.

There will be musical performances by Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsan Noorani, Loy Mendosa.

If you thought that is it then think again. There are some imports from the US because of dearth of local talent for this particular skill : Cheer Leading. No, Rakhi Sawant cannot do it.

Chennai Super Kings brand ambassadors

Chennai Super Kings ropes in famous tamil star Vijay and actress Nayanatara as brand ambassadors for their team.

Rajiv Menon is making an ad featuring Vijay, Nayanatara, MS Dhoni, Muralidharan and Mathew Hayden. This would be interesting. Would it bear any semblance to the ICL Chennai Superstars ad? I hope not. But it would be fun to watch.
